Health & Educational Association Larkana (HEAL).RUNNING PROJECTS OF THE ORGANIZATION
1. It is only registered Blood Bank (Private Sector) in Larkana District, from Health Department Government of Sindh vide registration No: PPM/BTA 1832, which has already proved its services in a standardized environment since last 03 years by approved method of WHO and affiliated with Hussaini Blood Bank Karachi. ·
Provide fresh blood to the needy Thalassaemia and Hemophilia Patients (provided to free of cost).2. Provide fresh blood to the needy other all patients only on exchange basis.
ii. HEAL THALASSAEMIA CARE CENTRE.
1. Arranging the transfusion of blood (after screening and cross match) to Thalassaemia Patients in supervision of qualified staff.
2. Arranging the treatment for Desfral injection through infusion pump / to control iron which remains in Thalassaemic patient’s body (provided to patients free of cost).
3. At present the registered Thalassaemia patients are 125.
4. Our motto is (Thalassaemia free Larkana).
5. Our organization focused on Thalassaemia for eradicate from interior Sindh especially Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kamber ShahdadKot Districts. · The organization provides blood transfusion to every needy Thalassaemic patients in heal Thalassaemia centre.
iii. CITY PATHOLOGY LABORATORY.
1. All laboratory tests / investigations are performing 100% free of cost to Thalassaemia, Hemophilia patients. · All laboratory tests / investigations are performing on 50% discount for all general patients.
iv. HEPATITIS FREE LARKANA.
2. The organization has arrange blood screening of general public above 15000 fifteen thousand people were screened on the spot then provid them vaccine for Hepatitis B virus and found percantage mention below.
